डिजिटल भारत अभियान का उद्देश्य देश के प्रत्येक नागरिक तक तकनीक की सुविधा पहुँचाना है। आज गाँव का किसान भी अपने मोबाइल फोन से फसल का भाव देख सकता है, मौसम की जानकारी प्राप्त कर सकता है और सरकारी योजनाओं के लिए आवेदन कर सकता है। पहले जिन कामों के लिए लोगों को कई दिनों तक दफ्तरों के चक्कर लगाने पड़ते थे, वे अब कुछ ही मिनटों में घर बैठे पूरे हो जाते हैं। बैंक खाते से सीधे लाभ हस्तांतरण की व्यवस्था ने बिचौलियों की भूमिका को काफी हद तक समाप्त कर दिया है। इससे सरकारी धन सही व्यक्ति तक समय पर पहुँचने लगा है। ऑनलाइन भुगतान की सुविधा ने छोटे दुकानदारों और रेहड़ी वालों को भी नई ताकत दी है। अब वे बिना नकद लेनदेन के अपना व्यापार आसानी से चला रहे हैं। शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में भी डिजिटल माध्यमों ने बड़ा परिवर्तन किया है। दूर दराज के क्षेत्रों में रहने वाले विद्यार्थी अब अच्छे शिक्षकों के व्याख्यान अपने फोन पर देख सकते हैं और प्रतियोगी परीक्षाओं की तैयारी कर सकते हैं। फिर भी इस अभियान के सामने कई चुनौतियाँ बनी हुई हैं। अनेक गाँवों में आज भी इंटरनेट की गति धीमी है और बहुत से लोग तकनीक का सही उपयोग करना नहीं जानते। साइबर अपराध भी एक गंभीर समस्या बनकर उभरा है। ठग लोग भोले भाले नागरिकों को फोन या संदेश भेजकर उनके बैंक खाते की जानकारी प्राप्त कर लेते हैं। इसलिए डिजिटल साक्षरता उतनी ही आवश्यक है जितनी डिजिटल सुविधा। यदि सरकार, समाज और नागरिक मिलकर प्रयास करें तो डिजिटल भारत का सपना पूरी तरह साकार हो सकता है और देश विकास की नई ऊँचाइयों को छू सकता है।

SSC CHSL and Steno no longer accept Kruti Dev. From 2026 SSC evaluates Hindi typed in Mangal only, under the CHSL notice and a Stenographer addendum dated 23 September 2026. Remington GAIL keeps most Kruti Dev keys and types Unicode; a table further down lists the 17 keys that move.

Typewriter Order: ि, Reph and Rakar
Kruti Dev follows the order a typewriter prints. A capital letter in a key string means Shift.
Type ि before its consonant
विकास is fodkl: f puts ि down first, then o slides व in front of it.
ि goes before the whole conjunct
स्थिति is fLFkfr: f, then L (स्) and F (थ्), then k to complete थ. The second ि is f before r.
Reph (र्) after the syllable
धर्म is /keZ: ध and म, then Shift+Z. In पर्यावरण, i;kZoj.k, Z follows या.
Rakar (्र) with z after the letter
प्रधान is iz/kku. With a ि in front, z still follows its consonant: क्रिया is fdz;k.
Finish a half letter with k
/ is ध् and /k is ध. In निर्णय, fu.kZ;, the full stop key gives ण् and k completes it.

Why the Text Here Is Unicode
Kruti Dev is a font, not a keyboard standard.
A Kruti Dev file stores English letters
Kruti Dev and DevLys draw Hindi shapes over English codes: केवल is saved as dsoy and reads as Hindi only where the font is installed.

What differs on a Kruti Dev exam screen
RSSB and the Rajasthan and HP courts use the legacy font itself, and RSSB counts even an invisible repeated matra as wrong. Your finger moves match; the stored text and the scoring do not.
Kruti Dev Practice Tips
- Learn the danda on Shift+A first: देश। is ns'kA, and Shift+A twice gives ॥.
- ृ is the key left of 1 and the nukta is Shift+=: कृषि is d`f"k, ज़िला is ft+yk.
- For RSSB, fix slips before Space: Backspace works only within the current word, and a misused matra is an error.
- For HP courts, 25 WPM for 10 minutes is about 250 words; the 10% counting method is not stated, so stay well inside it.
- After each run, read the report: every mistake is listed and weighted full (1) or half (0.5).

DevLys 010, on the typewriter keyboard, with no font change allowed, per RSSB's Phase-II instructions of 12 December 2024. The Hindi speed paper is compulsory: 10 minutes, 25 marks, at least 9 marks to qualify. Check the scheme for your own cycle.
DevLysIs DevLys 010 the same as Kruti Dev 010?
Both are legacy fonts on the same typewriter positions, and most letters and matras share keys. RSSB itself warns that some keys differ, and no official key-by-key comparison has been published, so check any sign your notice mentions.
