Fundamental rights are an essential part of the Constitution of India. They protect the liberty, equality and dignity of every citizen and ensure that all persons are treated fairly before the law. These rights include equality before law, freedom of speech and expression, protection of life and personal liberty, and freedom of religion. The Constitution also provides remedies when any fundamental right is violated. Courts have an important responsibility to protect these rights and prevent unlawful action by public authorities. Fundamental rights strengthen democracy and help citizens live with freedom, security and dignity. However, these rights are subject to reasonable restrictions imposed by law in the interest of public order, security and the welfare of society. The protection of fundamental rights is necessary for creating a just and democratic society. Citizens may approach the courts when their constitutional rights are affected, and the judiciary can provide suitable relief according to the law. These rights also ensure that the powers of the government are exercised within constitutional limits and that every individual receives equal protection of the law. The Constitution of India groups the fundamental rights under separate heads. The right to equality forbids discrimination by the State and guarantees equal opportunity in matters of public employment. The right to freedom includes freedom of speech and expression, the freedom to assemble peacefully, to form associations, to move freely throughout the territory of India and to practise any lawful profession or trade. These freedoms are not absolute, and the State may impose reasonable restrictions on them in the interest of public order, decency, morality and the security of the nation. The right against exploitation prohibits forced labour and the employment of young children in hazardous work. Cultural and educational rights protect the interests of minorities in preserving their language, script and culture. The most important safeguard, however, is the right to constitutional remedies, which allows a person to move the court directly when any of these rights is violated. The court may then issue directions, orders or writs to restore the right. It is often said that this provision is the heart of the Constitution, because a right without a remedy would have little value. Citizens should also remember that rights and duties go together, and that respect for the rights of others is the foundation of a free society.

Rajasthan High Court Test — Exam Overview

Exam & practice guide

Rajasthan High Court typing practice on this page uses short 5-minute sessions on legal text. Clerical recruitments such as Junior Judicial Assistant / Clerk Grade-II have included a computer-based typing component, but the duration, languages, Hindi font and keyboard layout, marks and any computer-efficiency component are set by each advertisement.

Confirm your post and recruitment year before choosing a practice pattern. The 25 WPM and 85% accuracy figures on this tool are TypingHub practice targets, not official qualifying standards, and TypingHub does not reproduce the official marking system.

How this exam differs

3 Points
1

The 5-minute timer here is a short practice session, not a statement of the full recruitment-test duration.

2

JJA, JA, Clerk and district-court advertisements need to be checked separately for languages, layout and marks.

3

If your notice includes efficiency tasks, prepare those separately from typing speed.

Check the Post Before Practising

3 Posts
  • Junior Judicial Assistant / Clerk Grade-II: consult the High Court advertisement
  • District court clerical posts in Rajasthan: check their own recruitment notice
  • Stenographer or other posts: separate skill-test instructions apply

A shared practice tool does not mean all these recruitments use the same selection or marking rules.

Practice Scores and Official Qualification

  • Use this page’s speed and accuracy report to find weaknesses in your typing.
  • Use the High Court’s advertisement for qualifying speed, marks, how the typing score is used in selection, error allowance and accommodation conditions.
  • Do not convert practice error counts into an official examination score.

How to Use This Practice Page

What to confirm in your advertisement

  • iThe duration and language of each typing passage.
  • iThe Hindi font and keyboard layout to be used, if Hindi typing is required.
  • iWhether a separate computer-efficiency or formatting task is part of the test, and how it is evaluated.

How to use the 5-minute timer here

  • iTreat each 5-minute run as one attempt and note your speed and error count.
  • iIf your notice requires both Hindi and English, practise each language separately at first.
  • iOnce your notice is out, match the session length and language order it describes.

Preparation Tips & Strategy

Speed & Accuracy Strategy

1

Accuracy first

Hold your accuracy steady before pushing speed in either language.

2

Daily practice

30–45 minutes a day, split between typing and any computer tasks your notice lists.

3

Touch typing

Learn the Hindi layout named in your advertisement thoroughly and do not switch layouts.

4

Build a margin

Practise a little above the speed your notice requires so exam-day nerves do not push you below it.

5

Mock tests

Practise full 5-minute timed sessions regularly.

Content & Keyboard Tips

1

Read ahead

Train your eyes to read 1–2 words ahead while typing.

2

Special characters

If your Hindi layout uses special key combinations, practise them until they are automatic.

3

Rhythm

Maintain a steady typing rhythm — avoid bursts followed by pauses.

4

Word processing

If your notice includes a computer task, practise paragraph formatting, tables, font styles and margins.

5

Error correction

Practise using Backspace efficiently without breaking rhythm, if your instructions permit it.

Exam-Day Rules, Accommodations & Common Mistakes

Check the official Rajasthan High Court Test notice

  • iReporting time, identity documents, the keyboard and software provided, scribe or compensatory-time provisions, and how mistakes are counted are set by the recruiting body. The current notification and your admit card override any general advice.
  • iGeneral questions: Backspace rules, keyboard layouts and Hindi fonts are answered in the typing exam FAQ.
  • iRoutines and drills: scoring rules, accuracy drills and test-day routines are in our exam guides.

Reading Your 5-Minute Report

1

Simulate your notice

Once your advertisement is out, practise the exact session lengths and language order it describes.

2

Correction strategy

Fix obvious large errors as you go and keep the rest of the run steady.

3

Compare like with like

Judge Hindi runs against Hindi and English runs against English; the two rarely move together.

4

Know the passage type

Practise legal text such as orders and judgments, which contain long words, names and section numbers.

5

Start slow, finish strong

Build rhythm in the first 30 seconds, then hold a steady pace for the rest of the session.

Understanding Your TypingHub Practice Report

Characters and words

  • iCharacter comparison: Ordinary incorrect, extra or missing characters carry full weight in the practice analysis. A single misspelled word can contain several character errors.
  • iCase and punctuation: Case-only substitutions and punctuation substitutions receive half weight. Added or omitted characters are counted separately.
  • iSkipped or extra words: The report identifies missing and extra words as well as character differences. Read the highlighted passage to understand each mismatch.

Using the result

  • iTwo accuracy measures: Character accuracy and word accuracy measure different things. A word counts as correct only when it matches the reference word.
  • iPractice targets: A practice pass or fail is based on this test’s configured targets. It is not a recruiting authority’s qualification decision.
  • iOfficial evaluation: Check the notice and evaluation instructions for your exact recruitment year, post and category. Do not convert this report into official examination marks.

Understanding Your Typing Practice Report

The arithmetic behind Gross WPM, Net WPM and key depressions. Your notice decides which of these it uses.

4 Measures

Gross WPM

Gross WPM = (total keystrokes ÷ 5) ÷ minutes. Letters, spaces and punctuation all count, and five keystrokes make one standard word.

Net WPM

Net WPM subtracts a penalty for uncorrected errors from Gross WPM. Two candidates with the same raw speed can end up several WPM apart.

Key depressions (KDPH)

Some notices state speed as key depressions. 35 WPM equals 10,500 key depressions an hour (35 × 5 × 60), and 30 WPM equals 9,000.

Full and half mistakes

TypingHub groups errors to help you review an attempt. Full and half weights in this report are practice feedback; use your recruitment's evaluation instructions for official penalties.

4-Week Practice Plan for Rajasthan High Court Test

An adaptable practice routine, not a qualification guarantee. Repeat a stage until your accuracy is steady.

4 Weeks

Week 1: Accuracy base

Touch-typing drills without looking at the keys. Hold 95% accuracy or better and ignore speed for now.

Week 2: Build speed

Two timed five-minute runs a day. Raise your pace by two or three WPM only once accuracy stays steady.

Week 3: Full-length mocks

One full Rajasthan High Court Test mock a day for the exam's full duration. Read the error report and retype the words you missed.

Week 4: Exam rehearsal

Practise at your exam's time of day, on a full-size keyboard, with your notice's backspace rule. Aim a few WPM above the target.
