Terms of Service & User Agreement

By accessing, browsing, registering an account, or taking typing tests on TypingHub.in ("Platform", "We", "Us", or "Our"), you ("User", "Candidate", or "You") agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Declaration statement.

To use account-based features such as saved progress, course access and QR-verified skill certificates, candidates must register a valid user account. Weekly competitions use a separate name and mobile registration, covered by the Typing Competition Rules below.

• Do not decompile, reverse-engineer, or tamper with the client-side JavaScript exam engines or timing mechanisms.
• Do not launch Denial of Service (DoS) attacks, automated bulk requests, or interfere with server infrastructure.
• Do not post abusive, defamatory, discriminatory, or unlawful content in community groups or candidate support chats.

All materials hosted on TypingHub.in — including examination passages, course curricula, evaluation algorithms, user interface layouts, logos, graphics, audio, and certificate templates — represent the intellectual property of TypingHub and are fully protected under Indian and International copyright and trademark laws.

Access to our foundational typing mock tests and daily practice passages is 100% free. Optional structured touch-typing courses or equipment orders are billed upfront in Indian Rupees (INR). All online transactions are processed securely through RBI-authorized payment aggregators (Razorpay / UPI).

• Eligibility: one registration per Indian mobile number (10 digits, starting 6–9) per competition, with your real name (2–50 characters). Candidates under 18 need a parent or guardian’s permission to register.
• Entry: each competition is free or has a fixed entry fee in ₹, shown before you register and paid through Razorpay. Seats are limited and given first come, first served. Your seat is confirmed only when your Secret ID is shown; save it, because it cannot be recovered.
• One attempt: the timer runs on TypingHub’s server from the moment you press Start Test, for the stated duration, and does not pause for reloads, closed tabs or network loss. A result that reaches us more than 30 seconds after the time limit is not accepted. Backspace, Delete, arrow keys and pasting are disabled, and impossibly fast results are rejected.
• Scoring: our server recalculates every result from your typed text against the passage. Final score = 50% speed + 20% accuracy + 20% efficiency + 10% completion, with speed measured over the full competition time unless the whole passage was typed, and mistakes counted per 100 words. Ties are broken by higher net speed, then higher accuracy, then fewer mistakes per 100 words, then the earlier submission, so every rank is unique and prizes are not split.
• Prizes: only 1st, 2nd and 3rd place win, at the amounts announced for that competition, and only if registrations reach the competition’s announced minimum. Results are published by TypingHub with names shown and mobile numbers masked.
• Winners: we contact winners on their registered mobile number after results are published. The prize is paid manually by UPI (to the registered mobile number or a UPI ID the winner gives) or by bank transfer, as the winner chooses, in the name used at registration, within 7 days of the winner sharing payment details. A prize not claimed within 7 days of our contact lapses. Prizes are subject to applicable Indian tax law.
• Refunds: if your payment is captured but a seat cannot be given (seats filled, registration closed, mobile already registered, or the fee or competition changed after payment), or your registration was not completed within 10 minutes of payment (for example, the page was closed), the full fee is refunded automatically to the original payment method. If TypingHub cancels a competition, every paid entry is refunded in full. Otherwise entry fees are not refunded, including for no-shows, late or expired attempts and non-winning entries. If an automatic refund fails, contact support with your payment ID.
• Disqualification: automated typing tools, shared or multiple registrations, or any attempt to tamper with timing or scoring lead to disqualification and loss of any prize without refund.

The free daily tests on the Live Typing Test page are separate: they have no entry fee, prizes or rankings.
