TypingHub Certificate Verification
Authenticate a digital typing skill certificate issued by TypingHub. Enter the verification code printed on the certificate along with the candidate name, or scan the QR code, to check the recorded speed and accuracy against the registry.
What a Verified Record Confirms
Three things a recruiter can rely on once a code returns a match.
Result Recorded at Issue
Net WPM, accuracy, test date and candidate name are stored when the certificate is generated. This page reads that stored record, not the uploaded file.
Available Around the Clock
No email, no login and no waiting on a support reply. A code can be checked at any time, including during a walk-in shortlisting round.
Code and Name Must Both Match
A forwarded code alone will not open a record, and an edited PDF will not match the stored figures, so altered documents fail the lookup.
How to Verify a Certificate
For employers, institutes and recruitment agencies.
Locate the Verification Code
Read the code from the bottom-left of the candidate's certificate, beside the QR box. Typing test codes start with VC-, course codes with CC-.
Run the Lookup
Enter the code and the candidate name into the form above, or scan the QR code with a phone camera — it opens this page with both fields already filled.
Compare Against the Document
Check the Net WPM, accuracy percentage and test date shown here against the copy in front of you. Any difference means the document has been altered.
Verification Questions
What employers ask most often when checking a TypingHub code.
CodeWhere is the verification code printed?
On the bottom-left of the certificate, next to the QR code. Typing test codes begin with VC- and course completion codes begin with CC-.
Two fieldsWhy is the candidate name required as well?
The lookup is deliberately two-factor. A code on its own will not open a record, so a copied or forwarded code cannot be used to browse someone else’s result.
No matchThe code does not return a certificate. What now?
Check for a leading or trailing space, confirm the name is spelt exactly as printed on the certificate, and make sure the full prefix was entered. If it still fails, the document was not issued by TypingHub.
TamperingCan a candidate edit their speed or accuracy after issue?
No. Speed, accuracy, test date and candidate name are written into the registry at the moment the certificate is generated. This page reads that stored record, not the PDF, so an edited file will not match.
StatusIs this a government-issued certificate?
No. It is a verifiable record of the speed and accuracy achieved in a TypingHub test. It is useful for resumes and shortlisting, but it does not replace the official skill test conducted by the recruiting authority.
CopyCan I keep a copy for my records?
Yes. Once a record is verified you can download the same A4 PDF or a PNG image from this page — identical to the candidate’s copy, generated from the registry data.
This page checks a code — it does not issue one
Candidates who have not been certified yet should start the certificate test instead. Three qualified sessions unlock a downloadable certificate with its own code.
