TypingHub.in is an independent typing practice and exam simulation platform engineered specifically for government examination aspirants across India. We provide:
- Authentic Exam Layout Simulators: Timed practice interfaces mirroring SSC CGL DEST, CHSL LDC/JSA, RRB NTPC CBTST, High Courts, and State Police recruitment tests.
- Practice Reports: Gross WPM, Net WPM, character accuracy and weighted practice errors. Recruiting authorities apply their own evaluation rules.
- Bilingual Font Engines: Complete native typing support for Krutidev 010, Mangal Inscript, and Remington GAIL alongside standardized English QWERTY.
- Verifiable Certification: QR-enabled records of your TypingHub assessment that can be checked online. These are not government qualifications.
Core typing practice, custom tests and practice reports are free. Structured courses are optional paid products; their current price and access period appear on the course page. Check each competition announcement for its entry terms.
You can take basic typing tests without an account. Sign in to access account-based course features and save certificate assessment progress. Competition registration and eligibility are described in each event announcement.
Use the same account when accessing your purchased courses and saved certificate progress on another device.
A physical keyboard can work with a compatible phone or tablet. Connection methods, Hindi layouts and browser shortcuts depend on your device, keyboard and operating system. Try a short practice attempt to check that the intended characters are recorded correctly.
Check your device supports the keyboard and adapter before buying one. For exam preparation, also practise with the keyboard layout specified in your recruitment instructions.
TypingHub calculates practice statistics from your typed text and elapsed time:
- Gross WPM: (Total Keystrokes Typed / 5) / Elapsed Time in Minutes.
- Character Accuracy: Correct characters as a percentage of the typed character count. Word accuracy is reported separately.
- Net WPM: Gross WPM − (Weighted Practice Errors / Elapsed Time in Minutes).
- Standard Word Metric: Five typed characters represent one standard word in the WPM calculation.
SSC CHSL LDC/JSA and CGL DEST have different requirements. Check your recruitment notice; there is no single accuracy cutoff for all SSC tests.
TypingHub groups detected practice errors by weight; this is not a universal exam-board marking scheme:
- Full Mistakes: Detected ordinary character mismatches and missing or extra text contribute full-weight errors. Inspect the detailed report to see how your attempt was aligned.
- Half Mistakes: Detected capitalization, spacing and punctuation errors contribute half-weight errors. Use the report alongside your actual exam instructions.
Use the Backspace setting provided by your selected practice test to practise with or without corrections. Availability and behaviour can differ between test modes. Choose the setting required by your own recruitment instructions.
Do not assume every Railway or court test prohibits Backspace. Check the current examination instructions and any official mock test.
TypingHub divides the typed character count, including spaces and punctuation, by five before dividing by elapsed minutes. This gives a consistent practice speed measure across passages with different word lengths. Your recruitment authority defines its own qualifying and error rules.
An inter-keystroke interval is the time between consecutive key events. Timing can help describe typing rhythm, but a regular or irregular rhythm alone does not prove cheating. Follow the selected test rules and enter your own text without macros or automation.
Requirements depend on the recruitment year and post. Useful starting points are:
- SSC CGL DEST: About 2,000 key depressions in 15 minutes. Check the current notice and result instructions for applicable qualifying standards; a practice score is not an official result.
- SSC CHSL (LDC/JSA): 35 WPM in English (10,500 KDPH) or 30 WPM in Hindi (9,000 KDPH) for a 10-minute test.
- RRB NTPC: Check the CBTST notice for your recruitment cycle and eligible post, including language, duration, speed and permitted controls.
- Supreme & High Courts: Each court and post has its own notice. There is no single court-wide speed or accuracy requirement.
Yes! Choose Hindi in the Language menu of any exam test that has a Hindi typing test, then pick Remington GAIL (the same keys Krutidev 010 and DevLys typists use) or Mangal Inscript. The site types the Hindi for you in Unicode, the Mangal font SSC requires from its 2026 notices, so you can practice directly in your web browser without downloading external font packs or modifying system language drivers. Start on the Hindi typing test, which also lists the Hindi rules for each exam.
Select the font and keyboard layout named in your own recruitment notice. A Hindi font name and a keyboard layout are different settings.
Court typing requirements vary by court, post and recruitment cycle. Check the current notice for language, speed, duration, formatting and error limits. Use the matching practice page, and review punctuation and unfamiliar legal words in your result rather than assuming one rule applies to every court.
State Police recruitments and MP CPCT have separate requirements. A Computer Operator notice may specify different language tasks from an ASI or clerical notice. Check the exact post and current instructions for language, font, layout, duration and qualifying standards; practice accuracy targets are not official cutoffs.
No. TypingHub provides an independent timed practice interface, not official NIC, TCS or recruitment-board software. Fonts, controls and marking can differ on exam day. Follow your admit-card instructions and use an official mock test when the recruiting authority provides one.
The TypingHub assessment requires three 10-minute stages, each with at least 20 WPM, 75% accuracy and 150 typed words. After qualifying, you can generate a certificate whose QR code links to its online verification record. It records your performance on TypingHub and does not replace a recruitment authority's skill test or qualification.
Share the verification link to show your TypingHub record. The organisation receiving it decides whether it accepts independent practice certificates.
Read the Refund & Cancellation Policy before purchasing for the applicable eligibility and processing terms. If you need help with a payment or course access, use Support with your order details. This FAQ does not create an additional refund guarantee.
The complete typing course progresses from the home row through other letter rows, numbers, punctuation and longer passages. Individual exam courses provide their own practice material. Check the selected course page for its language, lesson plan, price and access period before purchasing.
When a weekly competition is announced, registration opens from the banner on the home page, which shows the entry fee (if any), seats and prizes before you register. The full rules are in our Terms of Service. Results are published after the event is reviewed. The Live Typing Test page is different: it hosts free daily tests for upcoming exams, with no prizes or rankings.
