Artificial Intelligence, commonly known as AI, is one of the most important technological developments of the modern era. It enables machines and computer systems to perform tasks that usually require human intelligence, such as learning, decision-making, problem-solving, and language understanding. AI technology is being used in various sectors, including healthcare, education, agriculture, transportation, banking, and scientific research. In healthcare, artificial intelligence helps doctors analyze medical reports, detect diseases at an early stage, and improve treatment methods. In education, AI-based tools provide personalized learning experiences and help students understand complex topics more effectively. Businesses use AI to analyze data, improve customer services, and make better decisions. Farmers are also benefiting from smart technologies that provide information about weather conditions, crop management, and soil quality. Despite its many advantages, artificial intelligence also creates challenges related to privacy, employment changes, and ethical use of technology. Responsible development and proper regulation are necessary to ensure that AI benefits society without causing unnecessary risks. Human skills such as creativity, emotional understanding, and critical thinking will continue to remain important even as machines become more advanced. Governments, researchers, and organizations around the world are working together to develop safe and reliable AI systems. With continuous innovation and responsible implementation, artificial intelligence has the potential to improve efficiency, solve complex problems, and create new opportunities across different fields. The future of AI depends on maintaining a balance between technological progress and human values while ensuring that its benefits reach people worldwide.

Regular employee training and public awareness programs also play an important role in preventing security incidents caused by human error. Educational institutions are introducing cyber safety lessons to help students develop responsible online behavior from an early age. Governments around the world are strengthening cyber laws and encouraging cooperation between public and private organizations to address emerging digital threats. As new technologies such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things continue to expand, cyber security will remain a critical priority for protecting digital infrastructure. A secure online environment builds public confidence, supports economic growth, and encourages innovation across different sectors. What an Exam Passage Looks Like

Practice paragraphs on this site follow the pattern of SSC, railway and court passages. Knowing the pattern removes the surprise on the day.

Pattern
Register

Plain, formal English

Passages read like a report or an editorial: government schemes, the economy, science, civic life. Short sentences, no slang, few rare words.

Figures

Numbers, dates and abbreviations

Years, percentages, amounts and acronyms such as GDP, UPI or NITI Aayog appear in most passages. A wrong digit is a full mistake, so slow down on them.

Punctuation

Commas, full stops and capitals matter

A missed comma or a wrong capital is a half mistake under SSC rules and a full word under court rules. Type punctuation as deliberately as letters.

Length

Longer than you can finish

Exam passages are set so that a candidate at the target speed does not run out of text. If you finish early here, the test offers the next passage; in the hall, keep typing until time is called.

Which Exams Use Passages Like These

Each exam page runs its own test with passages from its own category. The free paragraphs above are the general set.

Typing from paper is a different skill. Delhi Police HCM and Punjab and Haryana court tests hand you a printed passage. Print one of these paragraphs, set it beside the keyboard, and type it in the test with Custom passage on the Create Test page. Eye travel between paper and screen costs 2 to 4 WPM until practised.

How to Practise With a Paragraph

Six ways to use the same text more than once.

  • First run: Backspace on, 10 minutes, read a line ahead as you type. Note the net WPM and the words you missed.
  • Second run: Backspace off. Railway and CAPF tests lock it; the score without corrections is the honest one.
  • Third run: copy the paragraph into the Create Test page with your own duration, or into a document and type from paper.
  • Drill the mistakes: the report lists them by word. Type each missed word ten times before the next run.
  • Change paragraphs daily. Retyping one text inflates the score through memory; six passages give a week of rotation.
  • Once all six sit above target, move to the exam page for your notification, which uses that exam's own passages and rule.
